Why We Built This Site
New York gives the public broad access to court records, but Nassau is split across many offices and portals. Civil Supreme and County Court cases go through WebCivil Supreme. Criminal cases with future appearances go through WebCriminal. Electronically filed matters live in NYSCEF. The Nassau County Clerk holds historic court files, divorce decrees, land records, and business filings. Surrogate's Court at 262 Old Country Road handles wills and estates. Family Court at the new 101 County Seat Drive complex took over family and matrimonial business in June 2025. This site pulls the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps into one place.
What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any New York court, the Nassau County Clerk's office, the Sheriff's office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with on this page:
- We cannot file paperwork or send FOIL or court records requests on your behalf.
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record.
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Nassau case applies to you.
- We cannot guarantee that every phone, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now.
Only the issuing Nassau court, the County Clerk, or the relevant state agency can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
Keeping Information Current
Nassau court offices move. Hours change. Phone numbers get reassigned. Family Court moved in 2025 and older guides still use the old address. We update pages as we hear about changes, but gaps happen. Before you drive to a courthouse, call ahead first.
